Louis seems to ask quite a few silly questions... Almost comes across as naive and ignorant. But it is a very good interview/host tactic.

Very poor area with high drug use. Seems the deal was done under the cop's nose so seems a straight forward one.

It can be a slightly annoying technique that Louis has developed - but it works so well with Americans (no offense to the US PH'ers - they just soak it all up) the people he teams up with really seem to welcome him in and offer him a fantastic insight into the topic he is covering.

It's a no win situation. Until the locals start believing in the police (and assuming the police aren' heavy handed) The police seemed unable to get through to a group just now that nicking someone for having a gun was helping them. Instead the blokes attitude was if he'd shot my boy, I'd have got my gun and shot him, like thats ok.

I think his 'act dumb' interview technique is very very good. People drop their guard when they're confronted by someone whom they think is dumber than they are.
