Do any of you have experience of living/working/holidays in Qatar? I know Dubai quite well having lived there for a couple of years, but have never been to Qatar.
I've been invited there for a holiday and a bit of a work chat...
A friend works there for half of the year (on an eight week on, eight week off basis). He gets paid extremely well, but is advised by his company not to leave the confides of his work compound for 'safety reasons'.
