PS Gordy, I haven't actually got round to doing the graph for this yet as I was hoping you could bung a shedload of funding my way to produce same. I feel positive that with some spin on this, some form of taxation will solve the inevitable outcome.

No you missed the point. Since 2000 we have actually got cooler which the ipcc nobs say is due to la nina and all that. But the pirate theory can now be proven as there has actually been an increase of pirates since then reversing the trend. QED
