Climate Change adjustment was the excuse the government was brewing up to explain the drop in living standards caused by the end of their boom. They thought they were in control of the economy and were fooling everybody. Now we have been hit by the bust, it no longer has a purpose to serve, and I expect, despite the huge industry that they have created around it, that it will now fade away in the face of real, not fictional, problems.

Indeed, I for some reason haven't heard the weather people babbling on about Global Warming... Even if they want to go for "Climate Change", I don't think having winter is winter is a particularly changing climate..

But I am waiting for someone to ask (on the BBC of course!) how more "greenhouse gases" in the atmosphere can lead to cooler temperatures if their bu***t is true.

When I got to work it was clear but cold, now (an hour later) its white over, probably an inch +......sirens going off everywhere - people have obviously forgotten what snow looks like and crashed off the road in excitment!

Likewise Groucho. It's often difficult to see where some of these wacky narratives derive from, but then you remember this is the internet and it's awash with people who are happy to just pull stuff out of ...you know where.

........ and how many are actually scientists? Typically less than 50% , which blows the "2,500 (IPCC )of the worlds leading scientists , science is settled concensus out of the water.

I take it that some of those lucky 10,000 will be government representatives. Representing the same governments that have absolutely no control over something as regulated and man-made as the economy, but are confident that they can micro-manage a climate system, of which we have a very limited understanding.
