Veritable blizzard on the M1 in Nottinghamshire this morning. The only place where it's not snowing on my 70 mile journey home is the area where I live. Clear skies here

Yep... they forgot in Lancaster too it seems !! Looked wet out the window this morning but was infact very icy. Slowly drove down my street and still had the ABS kick in for the last few feet. Saw two people de-icing their windscreens with a hot kettle !! And while I was in the field walking my dogs a motorcyclist came off his bike !

All in all not the best morning. The main roads were ok, so I took a longer but safer route home.

Be careful out there !!

Well, Pictures.. Its snowing at home but slush at work! . Il see if my car has any left on!

I only had the ABS kick in once! Rest of the drive was well planned using 1st n 2nd as the brakes
