XL Flight refunds

Has anyone recived any refunds for lost XL flight or holiday bookings?
our holiday package included an XL flight to Egypt in October and after the company crash we had to buy an alternative flight. Out holiday company aranged all the paperwork for our claim but we have still not had an refund

Did you not just claim on your travel insurance?

Then it would be up to them to chase the XL administrators for the cash.
