It probally means it browser wise, like with the iphone it goes to mobile ebay i believe, and with others it sorts the page lay out according to screen size etc.

Security q is your fault.

You have to contact them using the same e-mail account as they have registered for you.

Of course if you tell them that you use e-mail forwarding so you can have any address you like, they don't understand....
