My missus works for a small company with about 20 staff and for some arcane reason staff still get paid by cheque at the end of the month. It's a pain but after 5 years we've got used to it.
However the company is currently having a bit of a hard time and this month the cheques bounced. However the bank returned all the cheques along with letters containing names and address's and bank account details of all members of staff to one single employee at her home address (not my wife). So now not only does this employee (who happens to be trusted) have everyones bank details but also knows exactly how much everyone gets paid each month. My wife isn't that phased by this, shes more concerned about not being paid yet, chances are she will get her money in cash tomorrow, but others are quite rightly furious. Is there anything that can be done here? The bank has f
