Company pension question

My OH doesn't have a company pension (she's 3421 and I've told her off for not having one, but her justification is that she never saw the need).

Anyway, she's told me that her company (name witheld) doesn't have a pension scheme - Is this legal? (it's a medium/small regional airline and not a 3 man type company)

I was under the impression that all companies were obliged to provide some kind of pension scheme.

(Their maternity pay scheme is laughable too - legal minimum - that is all)

They should if they have over 5 employees.

They only need to offer a stakeholder scheme, but don't need to contribute themselves.
