If you're a higher rate payer, isn't £800 on £30K the equivalent of a gross savings rate of over 4%?

Thanks, seems like they could be worth a punt then if you're only giving away 0.6% on a cash isa.

That's assuming the notional interest rate on the bonds isn't dropped in line with today's rate change.

Pants!! Exactly the same as me, got £950 last year and even then compared with interest rates it was not good!
Always hoping for the "big" one though
