I was given £100k to play with

I have just started playing Fantasy Trader on Yahoo (Finance).. The game gives you £100k to play with. Any PHs playing too?
It gives an insight into what today's traders have to go through to make cash for their clients/themselves. Some excellent results from some players. Despite many trades some good some not so good, I am still only ranked at 22,000th in the game with my original £100k intact. I would be keen hear of tips and tricks on what it takes to be a great trader, especially now as the market is up and down on a daily basis.

I've always thought you need to be one step ahead of whats being reported in the media (without resorting to insider dealing). Once the news is out someone has made their money.
