IIRC some USA insurance companies began installing cameras to help loower insurance premiums.

MsT is telling me that this is from a TV programme and this guy was a taxi driver. It would appear that three other drivers in the programme were also filmed sitting in a car having a break together when they also got rear ended.

They showed it on Police, Camera Action a year or so ago. Seems like a brilliant idea, until you get filmed doing something unbelievably stupid and then having an accident.
