Just for fun, i'm half Welsh myself and most of my family live in Wales so don't mistake this as me taking the piss, I just love some of the mad saying and would like to hear more. You need to say the following with a good Welsh accent

st myself ave you

Follow me i'm right behind you

Threw the kids out the window some sweets

Who's that jacket hanging on the floor

Who's shoes are those trainers

See those two houses over there, mine's the one in the middle

Left my bike outside the shop, came back and there it was, gone

Please, if you have any more post them up, cheers smile

over here by there. (pointing to a pen for example when someone asks where it is)

Who's coat is that jacket.

Tidy isn't it.

Who's spoon is that knife and fork.

Im welsh down in uni... Apparently these arent the right way of saying things:

Where too then?

Hang on, I'll do it now in a minute.

Where you too?

Will try and remember a few more. Its everyone else talking weird though I reckon.

A ditty my Grandad taught me as a nipper from Wrexham

Taffy was a welshman
Taffy was a thief
Taffy came round our house last night
And stole a leg of beef.

Also an English translation of Rhonnda cyon taff

Land of the taffy theiving bastid

I can say these without remorse as i am Welsh and no offence or racism intended

I married (and ran a pub with) a Welsh lass. My pedantry radar used to go ballistic when carrying a box/crate/barrel I would ask "Where do you want this?"

"By there."

"By there? I can't put it by there, because by there doesn't exist. I can put it there or there, but not by there."

And then she'd ring me up and ask "Where are you to?"

"Where am I to what?"

I believe that was a form of racism in its day. It was used to paint us in a bad light. Taffy not to be trusted and all that.

Not having a pop, just the way it was. Like the removing our naming such as "ap" and replacing with Jones and Thomas etc around the 15th century. Cannot have them english having issues with the language. I understand judges were particularly miffed as they were wound up with the linage with several "Ap" in the name.

You want it by yur or bi there?

I also like how the words "ear", "year", "here", "hear" are all pronounced "yur".
