Chris Harris - ex Autocar: where did he disappear to?

Anyone remember the guy Chris Harris - or Monkey as some people unfortunately called him. Whatever happened to him? He was a good writer but methinks there was a big ego in there trying to get out?

Just checked Drivers Republic (never heard of it before). He's still doing those vids...do you think he wants to be on Top Sneer or Fifth Gear when he's successful?

I think he's excellent. Natural behind the camera, knowledgable, very talented driver by all accounts. Driver's Republic also puts many mags to shame.

I enjoyed his autocar films, the ferrari for a day one was especially good. Sad that you have to pay to see the stuff on DR now

Chris Harris is a good writer.

Maybe he appeared too confident on the test vids which might have given a sense of him being a pain. But he was streets ahead of the others at Autocar.

He said lots of nice things about my car, and drove it very carefully, but so did Steve Sutcliffe.

He seems a nice enough bloke to talk to.

I enjoyed the 'Chris on camera' video podcasts on itunes etc...entertaining and makes a change from the usual faces on TV.
