have an annoying tooth ,..........using "isle of jura" scotch to numb the pain,

is there a better malt i shud be using .............spelling and grammer are going to suffer in the persuit of pain relief?

If the pain continues CO-OP have Jura single malt at half price (or thereabouts) at the moment.

Jura is good, the only thing I can recommend is drinking more of it to numb the pain, especially after you've been to the dentist and they've surgically removed a few hundred quid from your bank balance for 20 minutes work.

Can't beat Man logic, to be honest,i find Jack Daniels to be a better pain relief.

I wouldn't be wasting 30 year old stuff after drinking a few belts of Jura. You won't taste it. This is when the bottle of cheap crap some tight relative gave you is better!

JD or strong vodka works for me.


Had bad toothache a while ago where a root canal went a bit funny, couldnt get in the dentists for 4 weeks :/

painkillers did nothing, but russian standard and JD swilled around the offending gum/tooth for about 30 seconds worked wonders.........well...... for about half an hour till I did it again



turned into a bit of an alchy that week, as I kept drinking it, but then again, a toothache is a good reason to temporarily be an alchoholic

I've just been through a fortnight of absolute agony..... Had a wisdom tooth go all rotten on me. Antibiotics, painkillers, nothing helped.
Feeling a whole load better now, got it pulled yesterday under sedation! I actually managed to get some sleep last night!
