Bit of a dilema..

Earlier this year I found myself out of work, my brother sorted me out a temp job to keep some money coming in, The money isn't bad, but for the work I do, and the shifts I work (nights) I don't think I'm paid enough. I discussed this with him before accepting, and he said it would be reviewed after 3 months, which came and went with no mention or anything.
I got paid on Friday, and it wasn't as much I was owed, so tonight (first chance I've had) I talked to him about this, and the pay review I was told I'd have at 3 months. At the start of the conversation I said, this is purely work related, family comes first, agree? to which he replied 'yes.' What followed was quite epic, a total b
h fuelled u-turn on everything he'd agreed (which i have recorded in emails, from his company email) I told him I would discuss it at a more appropriate time (TG was on) he said then was my only chance, so I said if that was I threat, this is my notice.
He then text our parents something, which quite upset our mum, they wont tell me what the text said, but I have a feeling it was quite personal. He's also text me saying "I don't want anything to do with you. I do you a favour and this is how you repay me"
I am still working, hence why I'm on here so late, but I'm pretty stuck for idea's what to do next, besides job hunting. Are there any laws surrounding night shift allowances? I'm not wanting no family fall out, I just wish to be paid what I'm worth.

As far as I know (and I'm quite happy to be shot down in flames on this) there is no legal requirement to pay a premium for working nights. If there is, I'd like to know why I'm not bloody getting one. The last couple of places I've worked at have paid different night premiums. My current employer pays a small premium to the shopfloor. The shift managers (myself included) are all on the same rate, days and nights.

To the OP afraid there isnt any laws regarding night shift or even shift allowences. One of the reasons I'm leaving where I am, is I do 2 days and 2 nights, and we get nothing at all extra for doing the nights.

A bit of background, I'm fully Volvo trained in motor vehicle parts supply and distribution, meaning i can use EPC or microfische to look up and sell parts, I love my career, but finding jobs is proving difficult.

We have had fallings out before, but dragging a work issue into family life is not on, imo.
