any phers sell mobile phones etc?

Hi all

before I get ripped of by mobileExpress or phones4U or similar, I thought I'd put the call out here first.

Need a contract phone for the daughter - minimum 250 minutes 250 texts.

Mobile express doO2 400 for £30/month for 18 month contract - with £170 cash back it works out at £370 (£20.55 per month) and they throw in an iPod touch.

Any PHers do this sort of thing please pm or email

If youre going for cash back, make sure its "auto" cashback, as the hoops you have to jump through for the other ones are beyond madness (basically designed so you dont get a penny!)

Though I believe there was a court ruling against this practice a while ago

I think I may jsut upgrade my phone to an Iphone, give that to my daughter and use my company blackberry as my mobile. can't do with hving two handsets!

I got my 02 contract 1000 minutes and 1000 texts and a k850i on 18 month contract for £24.50 from the o2 shop earlier this year. Admittedly I got a friends and familly discount, which brought it down from £35. On Phoning o2 online to cancel my old contract I was told they are a seperate part of the business and offered to do me the same deal for £20 a month. SO I would definitely phone around and not settle for any of the list prices.

I always go to the service provider, you usually get a good deal and it is so much easier than dealing with a work experience lad in a bad suit trying to sell you something you don't want.

As an example I pay about £20 a month (may be 25) for 500 mins and 1-2000 texts on vodafone. Plus vodafone has excellent coverage. Try the service providers websites there are often better deals than you get from the cowboys.
