Parking in Swindon centre

Got a couple of meeting in swindon tomorrow, is there any public car parking places near the train station?

Yes, when you come down to the Traffic lights by the station, stay in the right hand lane & follow the road around & you should see a car park.

Unless they have developed on it in the last couple of years.

Just Googled-pic looks a little old, but it's right on Holbrook Way.

Should be OK at the train station if you want, but typically its busy at peak times. Though it aint cheap.

There are a couple of car parks close by, but i always think that these are dodgey.

I would reccomend Vitlett street multi storey (expensive though) or park in the outlet village (£1 for up to 5 hours) and walk to the town centre using the underpass.

ahhh parking in Swindon.. good luck! I'm about a 5 minute drive from the station and can lend you a day pass parking permit down my street if your really stuck!

It does'nt look great- sort of like loose gravel over tarmac & not very well kept.

But I never had any problems parking there, even on a Friday/Saturday night- just make sure you don't park near the Kebab van- if it's still there.

Outlet village all the way - its very close to the station, cheap and easy to get out of during rush hour too.

It's signposted from the station too.
