Anyone got one? Did you go for one with a screen or just have your phone somewhere you can see it?

Where have you mounted it? Why did you go for the one you went for?

Easy to fit etc?

I've fitted hundreds of them. CK3100's mostly.

I don't like their audio quality, it's ste compared to a Nokia bluetooth kit.

If your stereo has ISO connectors, then it's easy as pie to fit. If it doesn't, then you need an interface lead to make it hook up.

I just ask as I'm interested in whether it is worth getting the screen, it would be a ck3100 or going for the evolution. Mainly whether the extra size is worth it?

I have an evo and a 3100 on its way to me. Will sell one.

Look, I took the liberty of examining that parrot when I got it home, and I discovered the only reason that it had been sitting on its perch in the first place was that it had been NAILED there

I have a Parrot. Small screen, phone in pocket. Works perfectly.

I have a basic Parrot, it has no screen and very dull plumage.
Because I bought the widget to interface with the Beemer's steering wheel buttons I didn't need the thing to be on display but the leads weren't long enough to hide it anywhere so I mounted it out of my eyeline on the dash.

When the phone rings I press the tit on the steering wheel and answer, I didn't feel the need for further distractions whilst driving(or pining for the fijords).

So would you recommend the Nokia over the basic Parrot?

I've fitted several Parrots and I agree the sound quality is just about adequate on some occasions. Work well in every other aspect though.
