PS3 and lead set up

I am converting my garage and will be installing a flat screen on the wall in the next couple of months.

I want to pre-wire it and want to use a PS3 with it.

I dont yet have a PS3 and wonder if anyone can tell me how long, approximatley, is the lead from the unit to the TV and if it is less than about 1.5m can it be extended?

Not sure whether that's good or bad, but it uses HDMI if you're using a recent TV, so as long as HDMI leads go i suppose

Standard HDMI cable, buy whatever length you need.

You'll need an HDMI cable, they come in a variety of lengths and costs. You should be able to find one that suites.

Bear in mind the process for switching a PS3 between low definition and HDMI is simple, but hidden on page 496 para 27 sub-clause jj of the instructions. (if you see what I mean)

IMO cable up every socket on the TV, at least the HDMI's and the component and an svid.

Get an HD Projector instead, a mate has the latest Panasonic one in his home theatre room and it is quite simply stunning.
