It's not crap, many of them have a higher disposable income than me. Big TV's, expensive holidays, no mortgage, free childcare (under the bed of an ex-boyfriend/uncle/whatever), loads of cash-in-hand opportunities to cheat the system...

Another statistic that no doubt is spun beyond belief. One in five of us are apparentlty disabled. One in ten chidren abused.

A lot of people follow in their parents footsteps. If mum and dad stayed at home watching telly getting drunk, then it becomes the norm.

I think they aren't bothered as it only effects families of 5 children. Shame if you were the 5th child though, but hey-ho can't be helped. Well it could be helped by stopping at 4 but most of them can't count anyway,

It did seem very watered down in a few reports and interviews, tasks like "update your cv" ir you ose £60. Ooh that'll sort em out!

Mind you that stastistic 1 in 5 is pretty shocking, especially since lots of families get some sort of state benifit even if they have a working parent. Total benifits 1/5? Some benifits 2/5? A little benifits 3/5? So are they really saying that only 2 out of 5 kids are actually fully taken care of by their parents?

Didn't the gubberment offer £200 for every new child born? Add them all up, plus normal child benefits and there you'll have your benefits per family ratio over the past year or so.
