...has a quiet hoover not been invented yet???? I mean the racket you have to make just to get crumbs and fluff off the floor??? Why can't someone invent a babysleep compatible version? But no! Someone at 'Hoover PLC' decides...yep our new product is great...but make it louder, then the neightbors will know you have one! And then maybe they'll look at their pig sty and think "I know! I might buy one of those hoover thingys!"
Its loud white noise for crying out loud, thats chineese torture!!! If you decied to run one around a life-sentance prisoners cell, he'd say his human rights are being violated...so why do I have to put up with it in my front room!!!!

Damn it, the baby's crying now!!!

That is all.

Get a Dyson. Significantly quieter than other similar powered hoovers. Miele are quiet too, whereas vax are the noisiest things this side of a V8, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Why don't you get a carpet sweep, especially in these hard economic times. Kills two birds with one stone, no noise and no power costs. Job done biggrin

That advice was for free

Next time i will charge smile

"What EXACTLY are you trying to do?"

"We are trying to whisk, whisk you up into...."

"But we're just coming straight back down again?"

Our Miele (or however you spell it) is quiet enough that you can't hear it through a closed door.
