Some time ago I read on here that someone who lived in an apartment, well above the ground floor, had been pestered over the phone by a company trying to sell conservatories. Well, here's mine...

When I got home today to the BUNGALOW that I currently live in, I noticed that a leaflet had come through the door advertising STAIRLIFTS!!!

Friend of mine grew up in a bungalow with a dad who had advanced MS. They had a stairlift, to the converted roofspace which was his dad's study

m8 kept being bugged by these guys on the phone, so the last time they called, he said he would love to have the item, think it was a conservatory.

sales guy went thru lots of detail and at the end, the guy asked what were the stilts like ?

seems he lives on a first floor flat

sales guy got the message and took him off the list

another method that does work is to send back the junk mail in the biggest envelope you can find that will fit in the letterbox, make sure it is well padded and use the address and Freepost FU2

the company pays the cost of the no stamp and incorrect freepost code, apparently costs them £10
