And i don't mean you walked past a guy who you think might have been Banksy..

My mother told me of a terrible thing that happened recently, the next door neighbours daughter was out shopping and all of a sudden they locked the store down as a child had went missing.
After looking around for this little girl, they found her with some gypsy looking lady, wearing girls clothes, and her hair had been cut off.

First thing i thought of started with B, and comes in pairs...

That particular story had been going around for years, but i've never come so close to the source of an Urban legend before, ie, the person who is actually spouting BS, rather than passing the story on about a friend of a friend.

I'd have loved to have been there and just "ahem, let me just stop you there for a moment" and walk off.

Anyone been closer? mate in the pub told you about the guy who has James Dean's Harley in a shed that was a gift from Elvis?

Man, that makes me look so gay,
everyone else thinks of titties, but i think of testicles...

I demand this to be stricken from the records, Your Honour!

Rod - not those kind of legends, unless you are starting one, which means everyone goes around saying "a mate of a mate peed on Roger Moore", in which case this is pretty close

I've heard a couple of people say that they were, ummm, giving themselves "attention" with their headphones on and eyes closed, and once they had finished their mum had left them a mug of tea.

While on a backlot tour of the Warner Brothers studios in LA the guides took us to one of the garages. Tucked away in a quiet corner was a Harley that, one of the guides told us, was a gift to James Dean from one of the Warner brothers. It was supposedly taken away from him because he had a habit of riding around the backlot, finding a building in which filming was taking place and revving the censored out of it, thus ruining the soundtrack of whatever was being filmed.

This could be complete crap though, as the same guide also told us that one of the cars in the garage was from Bullitt when it was actually from The Dukes Of Hazard.

If someone tells you that happened to them, how on earth do you respond?

Its obviously as old as the hills, and they are just a fking liar!

i remember that one from some old stand up/sketch show, that had punt and dennis on, and 2 other guys.
it was one of the other guys who said that, and i've seen people confessing to it before.
the funny thing is there still swear blind it happened to them, and must be a coincidence that it happened to someone else, including the strange morning tea routine that a mother does to her teenager.

edit - it was the Mary Whitehouse experience and the comedian was Rob Newman, and this was somewhere in 91-92!
