I managed to leave my keys in the appartment after taking friend's dog, Titus, for a walk. I've been told by the missus (who is at work for another few hours - she's an air hostess, so popping back from the office is a bit hard) that getting me in would cost $100 if I locked myself out. Thankfully the doorman is some sort of legend and sorted it to let me in for free. Not to say that I wasn't given a few looks for being so stupid, but still.

There are good people left in the world.

In the US, yes. Chicago to be precise. I'd never been threatened with a gun before - I didn't have any cash on me, bar plastic, so it was a nice new experience to have.

Lucky you had your plastic, although I bet the fact that the tramp was standing over you with a gun made it harder to remember the PIN number for his card machine.
