The best cop show ever!

Well on my way back home from my mum's tonight i stopped in at ASDA to do some shopping and found The Sweeney on DVD.

Is this the best cop show there has ever been? Brilliantly written and cast, does it get an better?

Funny but maybe things have moved on, NCIS is very good
