Not sending Christmas cards...

Whats the PH's collective thoughts on these people not sending Christmas cards but donating to some charity or the other?.

Personally I think they are just being tightwads. My yearly spend on Christmas cards is a fiver! and you can get charity Christmas cards. So why not buy the Charity cards, give one to your friends and family whilst donating to charity at the same time?.

It depends how many you usually send, I thought Lord March made a really good call in deciding not send Christmas cards to the GRRC members, but has instead given the £10,000 cost of producing and sending the cards to a local charity, St Josephs, a night refuge for the homeless in Chichester.

I don't bother. Because my handwriting is illegible and I'm a very slow writer. Too time consuming.

I never actually give to the charity anyway, I just say I do.
