To get out of painting the en-suite before Christmas I’ve told Mrs Tee that we can have a new bathroom suite next year.
This statement saved me the ball ache of pissing about in the next week or so, but now I keep finding new bathroom brochures around the house and keep being reminded I need to sort in the New Year.
Now, I fancy turning the en-suite in a wet room with some kind on monsoon shower (if im decorating it – I do it my way)
Anybody done this? Recommendations on where to go?

Don't go to MFI!
My advice (having worked at the above) would be don't be afraid to shop about, the little independant places will be better for some things the larger places (Bath Store etc.) will be better for others.
As for the room itself, its a good plan if that's your sort of thing. I prefere carpet in my bathroom, a wooden toilet seat and a few top gear magazines on the floor, its much warmer that way whily you solve the world's troubles.

t and stink and it's my bathroom i just want to make into a Tsumarmi.- IF* you buy stuff over the internet make sure that it is all UK plumbing and if not that you have factored in making it 'uk speck' with the wastes, traps, etc. Knowing that would have saved us a load of time and heartache last year.
Go to a small independent. They will help you select your products better with more knowledge of the options and the pros and cons of certain products. Aqata and Kudos do some great walk in enclosures. If you want a wet room floor look at Impey and Wedi. The Impey Aquadec and tanking system will allow their underfloor heating to run through into the wet area, which not all will. If you are nervous about a wet room floor then Kaldewei do some slimline trays that can be flushed into the floor with drip perimeter that catches leaks from the tray to tile joint, should the seal fail, and sends the water to the waste. They are steel and come in many finishes.
Oh yes regarding valves try Aqualisa. They have the digital I-mode and Hi-Q systems with cracking technology and some great shower handsets and slide rails. Gessi make some lovely showers too. If you go for something like the Kohler drench/jet systems please make sure your waste can cope with the flow rates!!!!!!!!!!!

We wanted a wet room but no-one round these parts was prepared to do an upstairs one and to have had one downstairs we were looking at some very big prices with the floor needing to be dug out and so on.

There is a store ... which the Name and Shame rules here will prohibit me from mentioning ... but it is a STORE which sells BATHS. If it sold basins it would be called BASINSTORE, but it sells BATHS. Get my drift?
Don't ever consider buying anything from them. Just don't. We did. We regretted it. (We took them to court for a number of things, one of which should have been "Having a lying sh tty bas7ard for a store manager", but which wasn't. We won, they paid out.)
