Whenever money is lost globally everyone who could be involved is.

Look at the Icelandic bank thing, all our councils lost money there somehow (despite moaning that they have no money) suddenly they have an excuse for the st service they provide on a daily basis.

Look at that guy who managed to loose $50bn, all our banks lost loads (again money they don't have) suddenly they have an excuse for the st service they provide on a daily basis.

Look at the government, they have managed to loose a load of money, again which they didn't have in the first place, in the 'credit crunch' suddenly they have an excuse for the st service they provide on a daily basis.

The list goes one,

What do you think?

Aside from the loose lose thing which I am always doing, what I am getting at is is it possible that these people are lying about loosing money to cover up the fact that they were as useful as pope John Paul's condom collection in the first place?

As long as the culprit's personal salary is safe, they probably don't care too much. You can be sure that the hedge fund managers, bankers and Council types all their loot and pensions safely stashed - while they play poker with ours.
