Hello everybody

Just a quick question and possible some advice.
If you dont receive a bill for over a year am i right in thinking they can obly bill you for the last 12 months? Are there any circumstances where they can bill you for more than 12 months?

Dont know but they reason they are doing it is so that they can charge you today's rates for things you used a year ago... Making a tidy profit in the process. Set up a monthly DD

What makes you think they can't bill you for more than 12 months?

Either call them up and explain, or save what you think your gas bill each month and wait for a massive bill.

Or go about like most of the great unwashed when faced with the same situation and claim the money you would have spent as your own and then plead poverty when british gas want all the money you owe.

If you've not had a bill for a year why wouldn't you ask them for one? You know you'll have to pay it sometime....
