Itunes playlist transfer

I'm leaving my pc for the holidays and would like to take my music with me on my laptop/external HD. I've copied all my music folders over onto the HD and pointed the laptop's itunes at it so I now have all the music in itunes on my laptop - however, I don't have any of my 5* stuff listed or other playlists there - is there a way of copying those over too, I need my 5* stuff!!

Any help much appreciated.

right click on the playlist you want to transfer and select "export song list" this will create a .txt file, save it somewhere easy to find. once you have it you just need to get the file onto you laptop (e-mail, USB drive, etc) once the file is on you laptop open itunes and click "file" and highlight "library" you should see an option that says "import playlist" you then just need to point itunes to the file and it should appear in your playlist bar.
