....just got to say W.T.F. ..... 
Who gave them the green light to invade our homes peddling thier guilt-laden gimme gimme garbage.
I already know they exist as an organisation. I MAY choose to give. That should be the extent of thier relationship with the public. And my choice with no pressure whatsoever.
This stuff is on a par with a dodgy alarm salesman who comes into your home and describes, in graphic detail, exactly what will happen to your wife and kids if you don't have his alarm system installed. Which are tactics that, IIRC the law frowns upon...........How dare they ?

Blimey....I didn't even realise it was an advert for Barnardo's - I thought it was a trailer for Eastenders.Personally I just like the sound it makes as he slaps the back of her head

te, and do not appeal to my sensitive side in the slightest.IMHO, I think they have gone too far. The advert is one I make effort to change channel on, as I think it is too "haunting" and upsetting.
Where will it stop though? Actual footage of rape? Real-life footage of abuse in some form? Yes, it is a worthy cause, but I think they are losing my respect because of the candid examples shown in the advertising. It is almost becoming a desperate shout for support.
It has reminided me though of when I was at school and we all had little plastic collection boxes in the shape of houses. All I knew then is that it was helping children who were`nt as lucky as me. That was enough then and enough now.

Yup - and I still don't want to watch Eastenders. Barnardo's might be better advised to concentrate on the success stories, rather than the message that "Give us the money, or the bint gets another slap". I look forward to the RSPCA using Bid-Up TV to raise cash using the old "Pay Up, or the puppy gets a bullet in the head" gambit.Luca1973 said:

Well it makes me want to give her a proper kicking not just a slap.And teh woman watching from the shop and the bleeding hearts who made the frigging advertjust cos she gets a minor slap on the head is no excuse to go and attack an innocent person in the street and steel their stuff.
Or perhaps it is these days I can't tell any mor. you can act how you want and have no personal responsibility it seems as long as you had it a bit tough.

Why should I have to feel uncomfortable then ? Why don't they just LEAVE US ALONE !The current presidente is Camilla following Cherie's departure. Could've bankrolled the organisation between 'em....
The ad is a typical 'granny frightener' as used by scum of the earth sales companies since the dawn of time.....
NOW they'll get nothing from me.
