If you're flying Virgin you can play quizzes with other passengers on their interactive service.
Or send text messages to passengers in other seats.
Could easily start a fight in a small crowded space, using that technology. Would pass a moment or two anyway.
Then just blame it on your kids saying they did it while you were sleeping (giving them a small clip round the ear just to prove it).

I flew in from chicago yesterday and had a six year old french boy throwing up/using me a leg rest the entire journey. The mother couldn't give a flyer and played games on her iPhone. The father was in front - giving the cabin crew abuse because we were delayed for 2 hours due to a blizzard. Or course it was their fault. He shoud have been grateful they and the pilot didn't call time on it, pillock.

We are not in the Dark ages anymore, there should be a decent video selection of movies and tv programmes. Flying isn't the chore it used to be.
You havent flown KLM Schipol to Shanghai, they use a 747 combi with no inseat entertainment, if you are lucky you can see the overhead screen.Good book, Ipod alcohol and sleep is the way to go.

Flying with Emirates. Unlucky with your journey, regarding the child. Too excited to even contemplate being angry and my daughter has been brought up not dragged up so I expect her whilst excited, to behave. I'll be helping keep her entertained with drawing and reading when she is awake, when she sleeps I'll probably do the same. She's 3.5years old and they are a piece of p!ss at that age

I agree with the iPod and book thingy. DS should keep you entertained. Get Brain Training and Mario Kart if you havn't already. Those kill hours.

If you are lucky you might get a plane with one of them plane wide quiz type programs. I love looking round to see who the duffus is. It gives you the seta reference of all the scores. Seat 64c....doh....its me.
