Bless her she let the cats out this morning at 8:00 one came back for food at 12 and then came in for the day. The other is still out there somewhere. I am trying to tell her that he is fine (we havent got a cat flap and they go out for around 4 hours at a time tops). I have spent the whole night with the back door open freezing my bks off! Anyone elses cats like to go walkabout at night?

Ours went missing for about 9 months, then came back xmas day. Was a nice surprise. Was gone again by morning, never saw it again.

Not much you can do now. I had one cat that did that a few times, usually turned up in the mornings. However she has since become an indoor cat after being hit by a car! (she hadn't gone missing that time though)

Get a loc8tor kit!

Brilliant i got one for our cats to help us get them in at night (less scrapping and injuries!) as my missus was always conviced and she trawled the streets with munchies in hand at midnight, that they were hiding and laffing at her!
But with the Loc8tor, they were "busted"!
Indeed they were hiding in big bush in next doors garden, 15 metres from the front door!


Now though, they know they are busted when th tags go off, (loc8tor machine shows distance and direction and the tags on their collars beep and flash), the cat's give up cos they are rumbled and just walk to the front door!!

Recommend it for novelty value if nowt else.

Our cat, who usually woldnt even go near the back door, she was too comfy and too well fed, disappeared last August. We feared the worst and even talked about getting a replacement, but she showed up again a few days ago.
