Feeling older

I'm at that stage: late 30's, still feel quite young but know deep down that time is ticking on.

However, caught the end of Top Gun on telly last night and happened to notice the copyright date during the credits.
It was filmed 22 fecking years ago!

Now I really do feel old.

Kids that sat their GCSEs this year were born in 1992.

Tell you what does make you feel old though, going to the Doctors for a back problem and 'whilst you're there' getting referred into the bowel cancer screening programme and for cholesterol tests.

I said 'Behave, I'm 36'

She said 'You want to think about giving up the fags too then'

I know what you mean though. I've got friends I've known 20 years, which wouldn't be so bad but for the fact I met them at uni.

Well in the past month I have had man flu twice and a bad back that took me off work for two weeks. I have decided its one of the following reasons

1) I am getting old (most likely)
2) Climate change - work with me here!
3) I am actually turning into a man

He was 5'4" and looked about 12.

It admittedly could have been a child in a dressing up outfit but he had that air of misplaced self importance down rather well if it was.
