Gears of War 2 advert

I find the new advert for Gears of War 2 really moving. I reckon it's the music that does it. Anybody else?

And what other adverts (past or present" have you found really moving?

The ad for GoW 1 wsas really really good, the new one kinda sucks.

Completed the game before i saw the advert!

I agree and it is definitely down to the music. Hubby has played the game and parts of that are quite emotional! I like to watch the games, not play, so a decent plot line is better for me!

halo 3 has one of the best game soundtracks ever.

Thats the bit. I don't watch all of it as hubby tends to continue playing it after I've gone to bed! However as he has played it twice now (and he'll probably play it on line with a mate on insane) I know enough of it. Excellent game.

Got GOW2 wrapped up waiting for Christmas.

GOW is the best XBOX action game ever, it is absolutely fantastic!

Best of all time for me still has to be Half Life - Its the endless reinvention of itself, each version better than before.

It's alright, but to be honest if they're advertising a game I don't want one pre rendered scene (especially if it's people going down a hole, which GOW2 essentially is)- I want to see what the game has to offer. It's an ad, not a short film.
The Prince of Persia ad got the game down to a tee.


That said...

The music is a bit good.
