If you cannot hear the Buckley version as the best you shouldn't own a stereo.
To compare his version to that f
king R&B bint on TV is laughable.
You can argue about it all you like, but surely the original has to be the best.To compare his version to that f

I should have realised that it would have been a waste of a click, when the first letter of each word of the title, was in capitals...AND it had two verbs.
Damn you, mouse finger! Will you never learn? Back in your glove!!!

Who, gives a f
k?Don't think you truely appreciate music if you cannot see Buckleys version for one of the best renditions of said song along with one of the best songs heard.
I actually bought it off itunes eventhough i have the album for the simple reason i would give anything to put that Burkes career off to a rough start. They get it too easy on that programme. Even with that aside i don't think her version can compare to any version let alone the Buckley version

I have absolutely no idea why but now that song is a lot more mainstream I hate it!
I cannot explain why? I can only compare it Snow Patrols ‘run’ Loved that, a great song off a great album, then Leona Lewis covered it on Radio 1’s live lounge I heard that live and I couldn’t believe how good it was. Then Simon Cowell saw the interest it had on Youtube and re-recorded the cover and made it a single. Now it has the big ‘production’ and a bit of extra warble and I cannot stand that either.
They are all rubbish, Cohen can write but he can't sing.
The guy singing in the crowd on this clip is better - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=02Zqy1UnNM4
And it's the crowd/backing singers you hear singing the chorus.
