Who else has to do 'Nibbles'?
Discussion
WTF do people organise 'nibbles'? Tomorrow afternoon/evening, (6 for 7, I don’t even understand that) when I should be enjoying the first day of the week when I can watch sport and do nothing by myself. I have to endure the company of a group of people who all don’t want to be there, whilst eating the sort of s
te you wouldn't feed your dog.
I was always told that being and adult was about being honest and not telling lies, but it appears we have to go as it will be 'nice', and we can hear the friend going on and on and on and on and on about her new partner. Also, why does it take women so bloody long to leave? When I leave somewhere I say, 'Time to go' and then I do what I said I was going to do and leave. Women say, 'Better go now' (i.e. I am bored and don’t want to be in your company any longer) and then proceed to have the most constructive and interesting conversation of the visit. Then take 20 mins to actually walk out of the door spending 5 mins on the doorstep letting all the heat out of the house. That’s Top Gear down the s
tter then.
Happy f
king Christmas.
