I am on the m1 right now. Stuck in the traffic on the m1 nottingam southbound.

I am going from Sheffield to surrey.

The plan was to stop at rugby brownsover chippy but that's ruined.

So spec me somewhere to eat :

Relatively cheap (8-9 quid pp)
Closeish to m1 (5ish miles out)
Can be fast food or chippy
Decent

I was thinking leicster but not sure.

If you do post a place, can you tryand provide an address.

try ordering pizza from narborough road in leicester, get them to deliver to the M1 junction by Fosse park.

Junction 21, Leicester, head towards fosse park for pizza hut (infront of sainsburys) or take a left and go to meridian park past the Sytner garage, mac d's is behind sytners,(also mac d's at fosse park), taste chinese, pizza hut, frankie & bennies and chiquitos at meridian park next to the cinema and bowling.

There's a pub opposite, bees knees i think.

All within a mile of the M1 junction.

What he said but instead of turning right into the Bees Knees, turn left into The Observitory.

They do a very nice steak there!
