HD over Christmas

I see from the programme listing some films are marked 'HD'. I have a Pioneer TH-42PX80B TV with a Freeview tuner. Will Freeview broadcast HD or is it still only Freesat and Sky that broadcast HD?

I think you can get freeview HD but you need a HD enabled freeview box

No HD over Freeview, yet.

Freesat is the only option for FTA HD transmissions.

To receive HD you will need a specific HD receiver e.g. Sky HD or similar. Panasonic are selling TVs with built in HD freeview. Not sure if any other brand are presently (although it will only be a matter of time). Not familiar with your particular TV to comment specifically.

You'll need a Freesat hd box...Humax are the best option...Approx £149.00. And a dish!
