Just what the feck is going on with the Met these days? Hardly a week seems to go by without a 'senior officer' bleating to the press about the latest hardship they face. Stirling effort chaps with the Army, Navy and Airforce up to their nuts in Afganistan all you fairies can complain about is how bullied, racialised or scared you are. I realise the minimum 100k a year salary and gold plated solid platinum pension is scant compensation for the constant dangers hunting you down behind you mahogany desk, but jeez, give it a rest.

Brian Paddick, Ian Blair, ^ this latest moaner, Tarique Ghaffur, Ali Dizaei and all the rest of you high paid help - SHUT UP and do what you're paid to do!

I continue to be puzzled that, as public servants, police officers are allowed to make public utterences which are blatently political.

So I was right about them being equity members then. I knew firemen were famous for moonlighting - I didn't realise the most senior cops in the country were on the job too.
