French Door Security (uPVC)

Guys, I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction, much Googling is not helping in this instance.
On our estate there appear to have been a few break ins, where the local scum have destroyed the external door hinge of folks' french doors and gained access. Usually while the occupants are actually still upstairs.
The issue is this is "new" estate so everyone has the same French Doors, including me. Now doing some research, what I need to be installing is a "Hinge Bolt" or "SAC Bolt" but these are not suitable for retro fit.
Does anyone know of a similar product or if there is a uPVC version anywhere that can be retro fitted ?? Failing that, is there any other way to scrure the hinges ? For example better replacements.

Sounds like the developer has done a deal with a supplier for a cheap "contract" range of doors, They should never be able to be broken into like that. Your best bet is to go to your local manufactor/supplier and specify a good quality door, making it clear your reasons why.
They'll be glad of the business and you should get a good price. As a rough guide you should get one for around the £800-1000 inc fitting, depending on spec and size (5-6')

If they are wrecking the hinges, the doors must open outwards - your only option is hinge bolts.
Any other kind of upvc hinge will just go the same way I'd imagine, unless you fit half a dozen hinges to each door to give them something of a challenge.
It's worth a fiver at screwfix or B&Q buying a set of hinge bolts designed for timber doors, then just holding them up against your doors to figure out if they'll fit.
If you were to drill the frames and doors to fit the bolts, that would work - sharp drill bits starting small and working up to 10mm or whatever as the frames and doors have ally strengthening inside - note doors contain glass, so don't go drilling too deep or pushing on the drill too much!!
Problem is with it being upvc the peasants may be able to flex the frame and doors enough to clear a bolt anyway, unless you mount the bolts really close to the top and bottom of the doors past the hinges, where the corners prevent too much movement.
Did I mention 240 volts?
