I Swear on my life, if I ever catch the thieving ****ing scum.....
You'll note in the last picture there's nothing in front of the shelves. Yesterday my big toolbox was there, full of all the heavy tools and power tools. Drills, grinders etc.
Also on top of the red chest, note the lack of a Halfords Pro 1/4 and 3/8 socket set. And my battery powered impact gun....gone.
I'm currently lost for words.

Get a nice wireless alarm on it when you fix the door back up.
Sorry to see that anytime but in xmas week, cash is tight etc, it's a right pxxser.
If you get something like a Yale wireless alarm, set the control panel in the house and you can then alarm your house too, but the wireless sensors should stretch out to the garage/ sheds etc, and as they are self contained units, with batteries on board, it will give you good protection.
You should not have to, but welcome to Browns post recession Britain....crime like this will double or treble this year as people get tight for cash and go on the rob to compensate.

I hope your insurance coughs up - but be WELL aware that the same scum might be back to collect your new tools again in a few months. (it happened alot on farms near me)

Cheers for the tipoff. Think i'll be stashing it all in the house from now on, much tot he Mrs disgust lolI Was fuming this morning. Marching round the local streets with a machete thing up my sleeve. Think im glad I didnt catch them, i'd have ended up in the nick, or hospital.....

I know it might sound a bit silly, but when the cars down our street all got broken into - the scum bags hid all the loot very close to the cars... that way if they got disturbed or picked up by the police they wouldnt have any stolen goods on them at the time of arrest. They simply came back the following night to collect the stash in a car or van.
Might be worth lifting a few branches and peering over a few fences if you havent already - i got my entire CD collection and sunglasses back from under a bush.

Thankfully I was insured to the hilt so resupplied myself via a claim. Cannot make the shed any safer so my spare room has now become a tool room!

Absolutely no interest (and in a way I can understand it), only interested in providing me with the all important crime ref number.
