Inflation, Deflation, Quantitative Easing, £1m to the Euro..
Discussion
There have been a lot of threads on here recently about which currency is best for a lump sum, should I move into dollars or Euros, what now for the exchange rate etc.
The general concensus has been in the last few week - 'You've missed that boat'.
I'm starting to wonder if actually the argument to get out of Sterling is becoming stronger now. There are a lot of indicators that suggest that Gordo and friends could be loading the paper into the printer as we speak. Quantitaitve easing could be the future.
So my questions are...
Will we be told they've pressed print or will it just happen/
Does anybody else think that in the short to medium term parity could be just the beginning of the story and we could actually be looking as 1.1 or worse pounds to the Euro.
Is anyone else thinking of moving money into Euro's even at this late stage?
Does anybody else think we'll see high inflation next year?

We will not be told when the presses are fired up (assuming GB hasn't already started).
In the pre-budget Darling revised the 1844 banking bill, which effectively means that the Bank Of England no longer has to publish accounts...

I am sure that the IMF will bail out the UK before we it comes to this....

Not that it's not likely to happen anyway, 'normally' but I've had alot of 2008 minted coins in change over the last month or so... oodles of it.In the pre-budget Darling revised the 1844 banking bill, which effectively means that the Bank Of England no longer has to publish accounts...

Coincidence?
Hmmm
I'd not worry too much about it, the Euro zone will be doing the same, as will the US with their $... I think we have just ended up 'realising' the s
t sooner, the others will follow at some stage...I guess the thing, if you are good enough, is playing them off against each other as they drop to make a few quid
