At about 3am this morning, I woke up for some random reason and went to get a glass of water. Whilst navigating in the dark I managed to knock over my guitar. I'd also managed to leave the amp on from earlier in the day. I very nearly soiled myself when that hit the floor.

After picking up the guitar and turning the amp off, I then proceeded to stand on an upturned belt buckle. I count both of these as stupid moments in the middle of the night.

Have you ever done anything painful and/or stupid in the dark?

Wonder how many people have woke up in the middle of the night and gone through their 'get ready for work' routine before realising it's only 3am hehe

NB: The moment doesn't have to involve sex toys.

Stood on lego and also a hairdryer plug lying around pointy-side up while staggering to the loo in the middle of the night - the agony prevented me from falling back to sleep....

I'm not sure 'fell' is the right word. It took a bit of a push.

Wife of a pal used to sleep walk...

Woke one morning to find the stairs had taken on the identity of a waterfall...

She turned the bath taps on in her sleep...

Last night I went to bed before my girlfriend because I have work today and she doesn't. Anyway in an effort not to wake me she sneaks quietly into the room and over towards her side of the bed. As she rounds the end of the bed she hits her knee so hard against the corner of the bed that it wakes me. A split second later she's hopping into the bed while screaming and holding her knee.

Took about 5 minutes for it to stop hurting her, but we were both wide awake at that stage, so the 'sneak into the room and try not to wake him' mission didn't go so well smile

I do quite often i don't like to turn the lights on incase i wake everyone else up. Iv fallen down the stairs a few time or the worst is, we put a chair infront of the kitchen walk way so that the dunb gay dog doesn't wonder through the house at night and i have forgotten it is there walked in to it pushed it down the steps and hit the poor dog in the face with the chair and then proceeded to stand on the dog as he does not move unless he REALLY REALLY has to, got me a drink put all back to normal to then walk back up the stairs miss the first step and drench my self in what ever is in the glass at the time.

I'm not one for grammar policing, but that was truly awful.

Try and say that aloud in one breath.

I was really ill last night and after I managed to finish typing out a text, I checked the floor to make sure my glass of water wasn't down there and dropped my phone which hit the rim of the glass, knocked it over and managed to soak my phone. Fortunately my phone was okay. My night vision is terrible.

rofl Arrr the comedy sound of a guitar being knocked over!...

...not quite as impressive as someone falling over a drumkit - but not far off!
