In November 07 I decided to change energy supplier to save a bit of money ,I managed to get my duel fuel bill down to £66 a month ,a saving of £30 wink
Now in the bumpf somewhere they said they would only send me 2 bills a year to save money
In June this year I got my next bill saying I was £666 in the red yikes
and my monthly bill went up to £156 a month WTF.Now I know prices rocketted this year but surely it would have been more responsible of them to keep me up to date with their increases.
Last week I got my next new bill and Im only £345 in the red (better),so they put my bill up to £172 a month furious
I haven`t calmed down enough yet to speak to the wemongering tw@ts but when I DO ......there may be impolite language grumpy

You don't ever read your meter & keep track of where you are in relation to the money you pay on a DDM then?

Check that they are using the correct starting figure, a single digit wrong somewhere is £100, plus are they using actuals or estimates?

Our power company seems to have no idea how much we owe them. They said we owed them ~£300, read the meter and said we owed ~£1200. Queried this as it seemed insane; they then decide we owe ~£400. Last time my housemate phoned up to find out what the fk was going on with the bill they seemed under the impression that they owe US money. How hard can it be?
