My Own Stag Do

Hi Guys
I am getting married in May next year which I am very much looking forward to
We are getting married in Italy with just a small number of family present and then are having a partyback in Scotland afterwards. My Dad will be performing informal best man duties in Italy, but I would probably be organising any stag do.
Now - the difficulty arises around the stag do. I haven't drunk for about 4 years, but when I did I was the life and soul of the party. Therefore, I have a few friends who I haven't seen for a while who are expecting my stag do to be THE session of the century.
However, I can't think of anything more boring these days than standing around in a pub or club whilst people get ripped around me. Also, my sober state will make any "pranks" the guts play doubly hilarious.
So - my question is this - do you think it is selfish if I don't have a stag do? I was thinking instead of having a weekend trip to the Nurburgring with a couple of close friends instead.

Hence my plan. It involves a 4 day road trip over the early May Bank Hol weekend. Several of my mates are already on for this, in a variety of vehicles. Very loosely:
Day 1. Calais to Millau. Viaduct photo-opportunities, etc etc.
Day 2. Millau to Monaco. (Late) lunch at or near the casino. Onwards towards the Alps.
Day 3. An Alpine pass or two. Into Germany. Autobahn v-max runs. Head for the Ring. Overnight stop at the Pistenklause.
Day 4. Ring opening permitting, a few final celebratory laps, then head for the boat.
It's in the order of 2200 miles, so it's 500+ per day. We won't be getting on the pots to any great extent, apart perhaps from the night in Nurburg, but it should be an excellent trip.
At the moment, there are 6 or so vehicles tentatively signed up, all of more than respectable performance potential

Is there a specific reason you havent drank in 4yrs? ie are you permanently off the batter?
My mate doesnt drink much and neither do I, but if one of us was getting hitched, we'd be having a royal drinking session (I probably drink 4-5 times a year and only get drunk once or twice at most).

Karting followed by meal/food/drinks at our local pub and then a walk around a few other local pubs. No silly pranks, no silly out of hand drinking and still talked about with affection as a very good night by all who attended. A group of friends (and indeed some strangers who are now friends) out to have an enjoyable time.
ETA: the one before that was most enjoyable as well. We all happened to be in a villa in the hills above Alicante and had a cocktail evening/night/morning. Again, no pranks just good company and good fun.
