Glitch in Christmas Day lunch plans
Discussion
A combination of circumstances has meant a last-minute alteration in our Christmas day lunch plans. Our prospective guests can't now make it (illness of their son). We've decided to put lunch at home on hold and are thinking of going to London to try and find a reasonable decent lunch up there. This is the wife and I. We're thinking of Covent Garden neck of the woods. Obviously we can't book at this stage.
Anybody recommend an acceptable eating place likely to be open? Not greasy spoon cafes, but not wildly expensive either. Say up to about £40-£50 a head.
