London marketing person and spiritualistic wife who wants to run a "holistic" beer making company and acting school in their Scottish House to help pay for the £20,000 a year upkeep and ongoing restoration.

Oh dear.

It's seems one of his first acts of restoration was to paint the dining room green, GREEN! Perhaps through his yellow tinted specs it looked alright but it's hideous.

I haven't seen the programme but green is one of the classic Georgian colours. But not LIME!

It's a great pity that generations of swingeing Government taxes, death duties and IHT have seen these classic places brought to the brink of destruction.

At last I have found the people I would most like to send off in a rocket into the sun.

Student actors.

Yep, the Georgian greens are pale, pastel colours like powder blue and pale yellow, but I think he popped down to Homebase and bought a tub of bright Green emulsion. I think it glows in the dark to help cut down on electricity bills.

This is Georgian Green

This is what he used

600 quid for 2 hours rental! Not a bad earner at all. Although I suspect 2009 might be a bit different.
