NOOOOOOOOOOO. When I worked in the city centre I used to look forward to Monday lunchtimes, having a nose around all the new releases.

Sorry, didn't mean that to be quite so abrupt! Virgin Megastores was sold in an MBO at which point they rebranded themselves Zavvi.

No, they got their stock from the same supplier as Woolworths.
Supplier went down, did a solus deal with Woolies, leaving Zavvi without stock.
HMV used the same supplier, so they may be next.

They got stock from Entertainment UK, which was part of the Woolworths group. HMV Only got a small proportion of their stock from them, they were hoping to proft from Entertainment UKs demise as their competitors ran out of stock.
